Sisel is a personal care and dietary supplement company founded by father and son Tom Mower, Sr., and Tom, Jr. in 2006.

The company name stands for Science, Innovation, Success, Energy and Longevity. Currently, the company is headed by Tom Mower, Jr.

His profile says that he is instrumental in helping his father create Neways, also an MLM company that sells beauty and nutritional products. He is a BS Biology graduate from the University of Utah and is an experienced product formulator, scientist, and product engineer. 

The company was previously based in Utah, USA but was later transferred to Switzerland. 

Sisel has quite a long story beginning from 1987 when Mower, Sr and his wife founded Images and Attitude. They rebranded in 1992 and launched a new name Neways.

There was an instance when the company was forced to recall its products for containing some unsafe ingredients. The spouses were also sentenced to prison time for not paying their income taxes.

With the launch of Sisel, the company again faced controversy for trying to secretly recruit Neways distributors to join Sisel.

Once a distributor, you have 8 ways from which you can earn income from Sisel. Just like in most MLM companies’ compensation plans, there are ranks that you can advance to in Sisel.

In the case of Sisel, you will start as a distributor and you can advance up to 12 ranks depending on your personal volume, downline volume, and having leaders in your downline.

1. Fast Start Bonus

This is the bonus that you earn from the orders placed by your personally sponsored distributors and customers on their first 30 days. Uplines up to 7 levels up can benefit from such a bonus depending on their ranks where they will divide the 21% bonus while you can enjoy the 25% bonus.

2. Direct Commission

This is a unilevel bonus system where you will earn 7% of the volume of your downline up to 7 levels deep depending on your rank. 

3. Infinity Bonus

This bonus is for higher ranks with 3-star rank or up who are able to create leaders within their organizations. Once the leaders in your organization qualify for this bonus, you will share the bonus on that leg from level 8 up to level 10 depending on your rank.

4. Master Check Match

For 1-star master or higher, you can earn commission as a percentage of unilevel commissions earned by your downline.

5. Rank Advancement Bonus

This is the bonus you earn every time you achieve one rank higher and maintain it for 3 consecutive months.

6. Auto/Lifestyle Bonus

This is the monthly bonus that you will receive for achieving a certain rank and for retaining it.

7. Retail Commission

Retail commission is at 25% for level 1 upline and depending on one’s rank, you can get a share of 21% commission up to 7 levels.

8. Wealth Building System

This bonus is only applicable to distributors who enroll by purchasing a wealth builder pack and recruiting people who also purchase the same pack. These packs are worth $316 to $369.

Can You Make Money With Sisel International?

Sisel has no published income disclosure statement. In reviewing MLM companies, the absence of a published income disclosure statement can be a red flag.

To earn an income as a distributor of an MLM company, you need to sell the company products and recruit people to join.

In the case of Sisel, starting from the income source coming from the retail commission, recruitment already matters as your upline will get some share of the commission from the personal sales of your direct recruit.

Hence, I think Sisel is giving much more importance to recruitment rather than retail sales in this respect. I must say that this is usually the case with MLM companies in a way that earnings are really maximized when you build your own team and make them replicate what you do.

However, with Sisel’s compensation plan it’s very obvious that recruitment is given much importance. 

From reviewing several MLM companies in the past and even reading studies conducted by Federal Trade Commission (FTC), it is an established fact that most people lose money in joining MLM business opportunities.

Indeed, there are people who earn lucratively from these income sources but they consist of only 1% of the members in most cases. About more than 50% of the members usually earn close to nothing while the rest earn some part-time income.

On the matter of whether or not they actually earn a profit when they deduct their expenses and the value of their time and effort in doing the business is another question.

Without proof that you have a good chance of earning an income from an MLM opportunity just like with joining Sisel, how can we see it as a business opportunity? Even more so, when the company is hiding its income disclosure statement that is also true with Sisel.

We can say that we can build a real business with an MLM company if just like in most businesses there are real products to sell and we can actually earn money by selling them.

In the case of MLM companies just like with Sisel, you just don’t sell the products. You also build your team by recruiting people to join your team and train them to replicate your efforts.

If recruiting is not the business that you imagined then Sisel’s business opportunity is not for you since you cannot maximize your earnings by just selling the products alone. 

In the case of MLM companies, those who succeeded in earning full time from the business opportunity are top leaders of their own organization. As we have already mentioned, the success rate in MLM business opportunities is just 1%. Being part of the upper 1% will never be easy in this case.

When you are looking at getting a real profit for your business with Sisel and we look at similar MLM companies with income disclosure statements, then the odds are against you in terms of earning a real profit from such a business opportunity.

Although Sisel has real products to offer, such a business model offers no guarantee of your success especially in terms of getting a real business income from such an opportunity.

Sisel could be hiding its income disclosure statement for some reason however we have learned much from similar business opportunities to just ignore this.

If you are willing to take the risk with Sisel given the odds that you will be facing to succeed, I must remind you that there are much better business opportunities out there that can give you better chances to succeed and I suggest that you look at them first because real businesses could give you better chances than what Sisel can offer.
