Fender has been with few multi-level marketing companies in the past, e.g. he was a Ruby director for USANA.
He is experienced in real estate and financial services and is also a founder of Guardian National Management and Preferred Financial Services.
The company is listed in Better Business Bureau with A+ rating.
Currently, it received 7 complaints mostly relating to problems with a product or services.
Yoli is available in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Philippines. The company is also involved in some charitable programs.

Yoli’s better body system seeks to help users achieve optimal help with its products that assist with weight loss, ph balance, immune support, total nutrition, sports performance and energy.
The products are classified into these health and wellness goals. Transformation kits are also available. Below are some examples for the retail prices of the products.

How To Join Yoli
There are 3 ways to purchase products from Yoli, by retail customer, preferred customer or member. Purchasing products by retail means buying the products at retail price.
As a preferred customer, one can save up to 20% and one gets to purchase at a wholesale price.
Since our focus on this article is to understand Yoli’s business opportunity, we will dwell mainly on joining Yoli as a member.
Members get to save up to 30% of the retail price and get to purchase at wholesale price as well. Only members are qualified to earn commissions from selling Yoli’s products.
An annual membership fee of $39.99 is required to be a member. In some cases this can come free with some enrollment kits.
There is also a $9.95 monthly fee for back-office access.
A Seller Intro Pack with 15 tasting packs is being sold at $89.
The Yoli Compensation Plan
There are 2 ways to benefit from Yoli’s compensation plan, by remaining an active member or by being an active and qualified member.
To be an active member, one must maintain a 50 PV equivalent to $75-80 priced products at retail. To be a qualified member, one must sponsor 2 active members to be positioned at each leg.
Here are the different ways to earn from Yoli’s compensation plan.
- Retail Profit - In Yoli’s shop, there are 2 prices that are provided - retail and wholesale. Members can earn from the difference of these prices when they sell by retail to their customers. From the prices, I can see that the margin is only 7-8%.
- Rebate Bonus Program - This works when a member exceeds 600 PV from sales to preferred and retail customers. This bonus is optional for those members who prefer to benefit from it as there are other conditions on it that affect the volume of one’s binary tree. This bonus accounts to 10-25% depending on volume.
- There is a fast start bonus that accounts to 20% of the commissionable volume (CV) on the first order of one’s new members.
- Refer 3 members and the sponsor will get 1 free product. This requires the sponsor to set up personal Autoship of at least 50PV. This is with the added condition that each of the new members must purchase items that exceed the PV of what the sponsor has in autoship.
- Under several more conditions, members can earn cash bonuses of $5-$10 per item or $35 for kits.
- Binary team commission is at 10% of the volume of the lesser leg.
7. Matching team commission is at 5-30% depending on ranks and level.
8. Global bonus pool is 1/2 % of the company’s total PV for diamond, blue diamond and black diamond.
9. Travel incentives and luxury car programs are also available.

Can You Make Money With Yoli?
Yoli has no income disclosure statement. This will supposedly serve as evidence to show how members are faring in terms of income.
Given the fact that the company has been in the business for several years, this comes as a surprise that Yoli has not been able to publish any income disclosure for its members.
It is but logical to think that such a statement is not worth to be published hence Yoli is keeping it from the public’s eye.
It may be worse than those income statements already published by other companies in the same field and nature of business.
If that is the case, then it is logical to think that Yoli’s members are not earning more than those members of other MLM companies with published income statements.
From reviewing several MLM companies already, I have not come across a company with most members receiving income that is enough for them to live on.
The unfortunate truth about the MLM system is that it creates an income stream where only the very few are getting enough money to support a family leaving behind about 90% and in some cases 99% are not getting enough income from the business they expect to build with the MLM company.
Some lucky members who are able to position themselves in the company and build a team to support them and work with their goals surely can earn.
However, for those members who are already late in the game, retail profit is quite low.
If my understanding is right it is only about 7-8% retail profit; other bonuses rewarding personal sales of members are tied with several conditions where a member needs to achieve a certain sales volume or recruit new members in some cases.
The Good And The Bad At A Glance
Conclusion - Is Yoli A Scam Or A Great Opportunity
Yoli is a legitimate company and surely is not a scam. It has been operating for more than 10 years and has a solid leadership.
It is rated A+ in Better Business Bureau and is operating in several countries. It also gives back to the community through its charitable works.
The products are formulated to address specific needs of the body as well and they are in different forms.
However, there’s nothing really new about these products from Yoli that you will not find in other companies in the same field. Also, in the business side of things, retail profit is relatively low while startup cost are on the higher side.
There is no income disclosure statement to show evidence that the company’s compensation plan is actually benefiting most members as well.
With all these in mind, I’m not really convinced that Yoli’s opportunity can work for most people.
If you are not that passionate about the products and if you are looking to get a fair income from this one then revisit your capabilities first if you have what it takes to sell and recruit for this particular kind of products and business.
