Gano Excel MLM Review - Is It Really A Great Opportunity For You?

The Gano Excel Company

Gano Excel is a health and wellness direct selling company that sells Ganoderma mushroom-based products. It was founded in 1995 in Malaysia. 

One of the founders and the current President of Gano Excel Leow Soon Seng is a mycologist.

 Another company co-founder is Bernardo Chua who is now with a similar Ganoderma MLM company, Organo Gold.

Gano Excel has worldwide operations from its origin in Malaysia to Australia, Europe, and the USA covering about 65 countries all over the world.

The USA office is located in California and is listed in Better Business Bureau with A+ rating with 18 years of business operation. 

Gano Excel has been thrown with a number of lawsuits in the past and one of them was a complaint about the presence of lead on some of the company’s products.

Since Gano Excel has been operating worldwide, as a  context, most of the information stated in this post is from the Gano Excel USA website.

There are several ways to earn money from Gano Excel. These are explained briefly below.

1. Retail Profit 

Retail profit is the difference between the wholesale price and retail price. As a Gano Excel distributor, you can earn this retail profit by buying the products at an affiliate discount and selling them at SRP. Usually, the profit rate does not go lower than 30%.

2. Progressive Rebates

This rebate starts at 5% of the commissionable value of the items you order in Gano Excel and increases up to 44% as you advance in rank. These rebates also apply to purchases made by your preferred customers.  

3. Stairstep Differential Overrides

This is computed based on the difference of percentage to the commissionable value generated by all paid ranks in your team. This ranges from 0 to 39%. If someone in your downline has the same or much higher rank than you are then there is no difference override.

There’s the Gold & Platinum power pool applicable to affiliates with these mentioned ranks. Other bonus programs include diamond generation bonus, quarterly revenue sharing, and luxury incentives for diamond ranks or up.

There is the fast start bonus as well that can be earned when you sell startup packs to newly enrolled affiliates.

The fast start bonus depends on the startup packs that you have sold. It also pays up to 5 levels of your upline depending on your rank. These starter packs mentioned on the start-up bonus programs include ESP, GBP and BBP.

 However, from one website of an affiliate, I only saw the starter packs mentioned below.

How Much Can You Earn With The Gano Excel Opportunity?

Gano Excel’s Policies and Procedures has the following provisions about income claims for its affiliates,

“Affiliates shall make clear that profits are not guaranteed and that the Commissions program is based upon sales of Commissionable Products. “ 

I tried to dig more but I could not really find an income disclosure statement from Gano Excel on the internet.

 It is important for a network marketing company like Gano Excel to show its income disclosure statement. This will erase doubts about the business opportunity offered by a company especially in terms of potential income earnings.

 As in the case of Gano Excel, the lack of an income disclosure statement can be a red flag for business seekers. 

Another concern that I would like to raise in terms of income earnings of affiliates of Gano Excel lies in the fact that Gano Excel is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company.

 This means that for you to earn you need to sell its products and recruit at the same time. Without your recruits, you cannot advance in ranks and this would mean you will not be able to maximize your earnings.

The problem however in most MLM companies is that you need to be a part of at least the upper 10% to get a decent income that can pay for your effort and time. In some cases, if you want a decent full-time income that can raise a family in the USA for example, you need to be in the upper 1% of all affiliates.

 This is the case because, in most MLM companies that I have already reviewed for years, most income disclosure statement reflects about 1-10% success rate in terms of getting a full-time income and majority of these companies are leaning to the 1% success rate.

 It is even rare to find MLM companies with a 10% success rate in terms of their affiliates getting a full-time income from the business opportunity.   

Now, let's have a quick look at the Pros and Cons of Gano Excel.

The Pros Of Gano Excel

• Gano Excel has worldwide operations.
• The company is rated A+ in Better Business Bureau with 18 years in the business.
• It has a good line of products that are retail-viable.

The Cons Of Gano Excel

• Very little information can be found about the current executives of the company.
• It faced a lawsuit involving lead remnants on the products.
• Retail prices of the products are not available on the USA website.
• The company operates as a multi-level marketing company where recruitment is necessary to advance in ranks and to earn more from the compensation plan programs.
• The company does not have an income disclosure statement.

Conclusion 

Finding a great opportunity in the MLM industry is not easy.

With a long list of MLM companies out there, it is like finding a needle in a haystack.

 However, we can always start at one point and start to narrow our choices.

 If Gano Excel’s products interest you then it’s likely a good start.

However, the important question is whether or not Gano Excel’s business opportunity offering is in general terms great. 

There is no question that Gano Excel is a legitimate company with long years in operation that reaches worldwide.

 In saying that, as a business opportunity, it follows the system of multi-level marketing wherein affiliates need to sell the products and recruit to earn an income.

Also, considering its long years of operation, I could not find any income disclosure statement released by the company.

If this is available upon enrollment then make sure to ask this from your upline. 

The problem with multi-level marketing business opportunities however is the success rate of affiliates in earning a real decent income.

 In my years of reviewing multi-level marketing companies, it is an established fact based on looking at available income disclosure statement of several MLM companies, that the success rate in getting a full-time income is very low ranging from 1-10% with companies leaning to 10% success rate a very rare occurrence.

The lack of income disclosure statement from Gano Excel alone is a red flag when assessing an MLM company.

 Without this document alone, I cannot agree that Gano Excel is a great opportunity for anyone. However, if you can get a hold of this document and it reflects a success rate higher than 10% then there must be something good about this opportunity.

 It may be the case that it is a great opportunity for you especially if you have what it takes to be in that upper fortunate group that succeeds.

 An MLM business always requires selling and recruiting skills.

 If you want to stray away from this kind of role then surely, Gano Excel is not a great opportunity for you.
