Welcome to my LifeWave review and the question if getting involved with this MLM company is a reliable income opportunity for you or just a plain ol' scam.
LifeWave is a company that sells health and wellness products via independent distributors who in return earn a commission.
My detailed review will briefly touch on the products. The main focus lays on the 'business' opportunity with its compensation plan, and the joining process though.
Also, what makes LifeWave different to companies like IDLife, LifeVantage, or Synergy Worldwide, for example?

LifeWave Reviews - Just A Scam?
More About The LifeWave Company
Before deciding whether or not to get involved with one particular company, it is always a good idea, to get some background information.
But in LifeWaves case, there was not much information available.
The company is based in San Diego, California, and has been founded by David Schmidt in 2004.
David Schmidt is not only the founder, but also the inventor of the unique patches Lifewave sells, and the CEO of the LifeWave company.
Unfortunately, there is no information about David Schmidt available, e.g. what kind of educational background he has or any business related experience.
There are a few negative reviews about him calling him a scam and that his products are based on pseudoscience.
It looks like that people are still receptive of these products because they are available in 100 countries.

The LifeWave Products
LifeWave's products are unique because they don't come as pills or capsules, instead the ingredients are in a patch that needs to be placed on certain areas of your skin.
The Lifewave products are intended to help getting more energy, a better sleep, and an improvement in your overall well-being, just to name a few benefits.
Here is what LifeWave says about its products: " Our patented, proprietary wellness products deliver more energy, better sleep, reduced stress, sharper mental focus, and an overall feeling of youthful vitality."
You'll find a lot of scientific data on the companies website.
But then, you'll also find this disclaimer on the website as well: "The statements on LifeWave products, websites or associated materials have not been evaluated by any regulatory authority and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition."
The most popular product is, without a doubt, LifeWave X39 that sells at a whopping $149.95 and is promoted as a 'general wellness patch.'
My biggest issue with all LifeWave products is the high price tag.
The prices start at $89.95 for thirty patches, and only increase from there.
That is way more, than one would be paying for nutrional and dietary supplements that are also claim to have health benefits for the consumer.
Spoiler Alert: Lots of the products are being bought by the distributors themselves so they can qualify for commission payments.
Sounds familiar? Yes, this is common practise for many other MLM companies, e.g. Synergy Worldwide.
Moving on ...
How To Join LifeWave
As you can see on the image above, you can join LifeWave for as little as $25 but it doesn't include any products.
For $25 you'll get a one-year subscription to a replicated LifeWave website and access to the LifeWave backoffice.
The next option is Bronze and retails at $124.95, followed by the Silver enrollment kit for $299.95, Gold for $499.95, Platinum for $999.95, and lastly the most expensive Diamond kit that retails for $$1599.95.
Please note that LifeWave X39 is not included in any of these enrollment kits.
To remain as an active distributor, you must at least purchase a 55 Personal Volume in products each month.
55 PV equals around $100. For instance, LifeWave's night cream retails at $99.95 and has a volume of 55.
So be prepared to spend $100 each month on product purchases to qualify for commission payments.
Which brings me to the commission plan...
The LifeWave Compensation Plan
LifeWave offers a binary compensation plan with a clear focus on recruiting. One of the biggest bonuses they pay is called the 'Product Introduction Bonus.'
Based on the enrollment kit your new recruit purchases, you'll earn a commission on the initial sale. You can see the bonus payments on the image below.
Remember to stay active with 55PV a month, otherwise there will be no bonus payments.
To qualify for team commissions on both legs, you must be active (55PV), have sponsored two recruits and accumulated 990 Business Volume combined in both legs.
To qualify for the first level matching bonus and above, one needs to have 110PV each month plus has to sponsor at least two Silver members in each leg.
Read the full commission plan here.
If you fail to pay your 55PV a month, you become inactive and your business volume goes back to zero.
Can You Make Money With LifeWave
The question is, can you make so many sales and recruit new people into the company, that you can earn at least a decent income? By that I mean around $500/month as a side hustle and at least $3000 as a full-time income.
Unfortunately, LifeWave has never published an income disclosure so my guess is that it is very challenging to make an income at all. I am taking into consideration that you have to spend at least a $100 on products a month and also the fact that you have to recruit rather than sell products.
Finding people who are willing to spend lots of money on an enrollment kit and pay $100 a month on products is no easy task.
So, I'd say that your chances of making an income are very slim.
Let's have a quick look at the Pros and Cons of LifeWave.

The Pros Of LifeWave
The Cons Of LifeWave
Conclusion - Is LifeWave A Scam
Based on my research, I can't really say that LifeWave is a scam considering the product range and the fact that the products are available worldwide.
But! Asking distributors to purchase products each month to qualify for commissions is a big red flag.
Of course, you need to try the products but no one should be forced to buy them to earn a commission!!!
Also, LifeWave puts so much emphasis on sponsoring rather then selling the products.
There is only a slim chance to make an income. It looks like one would lose money then earn anything at all.
Here is what I would recommend to earn a passive income, without selling or recruiting.

WA is not as good as you say it is. Been there done that. This review is really sad because if you have to step on a good company that has been around since 2004 just to get sign ups in WA It’s very sad and means you have no integrity and need to work on a better way to promote your program.
Hi Joe, here is my answer to your comment: multi-level marketing is not for everyone, and Wealthy Affiliate may not be a good choice for everyone. It depends on your goals and how you want to achieve them. I have been involved with an MLM company for many years and it didn’t work for me whatsoever. My point is that is important to give my readers a choice. I was so glad when someone pointed me in the right direction (to Wealthy Affiliate) many years ago. And by the way, my integrity is fine, thank you very much. If I find out that something is not 100% okay with a company I will state it. The same applies to Wealthy Affiliate – nothing is really perfect and there will always be room for improvement(read more here)
Have a good day!
I have not seen the science behind their claims, that thermal heat will instigate nerves to generate a peptide to instigate and promote stem cells. If true why isn’t a warm shower the equivalent of X39? Show me the science!
You have made several errors in your review. The most significant error is: “LifeWave X39 is not included in any of these enrollment kits.” This is not true, and a disingenuous statement. There are X39 patches included in every enrollment kit. Also, please note that there are 30 patches included in any purchase of patches.
Thanks so much for your information. Mistakes can happen so I am very grateful for your input. Cheers, Anke
