The Illuminent Company

Illuminent is a CBD direct selling company founded by Ryan Botsch. He is an entrepreneur who previously owned a vape company. He has a strong professional background in information technology as well.

 The company was founded in 2017 and is currently based in California, USA. There is also an EU office in the United Kingdom.

Other CBD MLM companies we have reviewed are CBD Biocare, Heart And Body Natural, Kannaway, or Gemini, just to name a few.

Illuminent is listed in Better Business Bureau (BBB) under Botsch’s umbrella company, Kingdom Entities LLC. It is not BBB accredited though and is not rated. 

On the company’s corporate website, Illuminent takes pride in giving importance to the relationship amongst its partners, its strong ethics and for being federally legal.

The  Illuminent Compensation Plan

Joining Illuminent as a partner gives you an opportunity to earn from the company’s compensation plan in 7 ways. Just like in other MLM companies, there are ranks to achieve in Illuminent’s compensation plan.

Sales Commission

This is the commission that you can earn as an Illuminent partner by selling products to retail customers. Commission rate ranges from 22% to 30% depending on your rank. 

Team Volume Bonus

To qualify for a team volume bonus, you need to be at least a Primary Partner in rank with $400 per month personal volume, 2 VIP customers on autoship, $1000 in group wholesale volume, and 2 active frontline partners. This bonus is at 2% to 6% and is paid up to level 8 depending on your ranks.

Team Check Matching Bonus

This is rewarded to Primary Partner rank or higher when their level 1 and 2 downlines earn their team volume bonus. This is computed at 2% to 5% depending on the member’s rank.

Retail Production Bonus

If your retail sales reach $2000 and up, you will get an additional bonus of 2% to 5% depending on your rank.

Rank Achievement Bonus

As you advance in ranks from Education Partner or higher, you will be rewarded with a bonus on each of your rank advancement milestones.

Group Generation Bonus

As your downline achieves higher ranks as Education Partner or higher, you have the opportunity to earn a group generation bonus on their team sales. 

3& Free Program

These are free product credit rewards that you can get when you enroll VIP customers on autoship.

The company also offers wholesale commission.

Can You Make Money With Illuminent?

Illuminent has no income disclosure statement posted on its corporate website. I also tried searching the internet about it but I cannot find one as well.

 It is clear that Illuminent operates as an MLM company where partners can earn an income when they sell the company products and recruit people to join the company.

In an MLM company like Illuminent, an income disclosure statement can show if the company’s compensation plan is bringing positive results in terms of income earnings to its members. 

Without this document, there is no way to determine one’s chance of success in joining the company business.

With my years of doing MLM review and based on independent studies published about MLM business models, it has been proven that most members of MLM companies actually lose money from joining such opportunities.

 Most income disclosure statements even from big and established MLM companies show a 1% success rate in terms of achieving a full-time income from the business.

 In most cases, the median income is zero which means that about 50% of members are not earning any income from the business opportunity. In the case of Illuminent, it is highly likely that such a scenario is also true.

 There is something about the MLM business models that polarizes the earning potential of members and only favors the top 1%. Because commissions and bonuses are usually paid at multiple levels, the tendency is for people in higher ranks to prey on the income of members in the lower ranks even if they did not do any work to benefit from it.

 So long as a similar MLM system is in place in Illuminent, I highly doubt that it can make better results for its members’ income earnings.

Conclusion - Is  Illuminent A Scam

Illuminent is surely not a scam. It is a legally established company based in the United States. It has a wide range of CBD and non-CBD products in its portfolio.

 The company has some certifications to back the quality of its products and to prove that it is legally compliant. Illuminent offers an opportunity for its customers and business prospects to start a business with the company at a minimal cost. 

However, there are some other things that need to be said about Illuminent. It is quite a new company and brand recognition can be a challenge when selling the products.

Also, Illuminent is an MLM company and for members to earn, they need to sell the products and recruit people to join the business. I cannot find an income disclosure statement of the company and it is not also available on the company website.

 In this respect, there is no proof if Illuminent’s compensation plan brings positive results to its members financially.

 We already know the sad truths about MLM companies and that most people lose money in joining such business ventures.

 With the prevailing low success rate across the MLM industry, I’m not sure at this point how Illuminent can be different in helping its members achieve financial success when it cannot even show an income disclosure statement to prove that its compensation plan actually works for its members.
